Hike

Dr. Redick took us on a hike near the lion's bridge and told us to pay attention to the surroundings as we hiked. As soon as we got to the location to start the hike the scenery around us was beautiful we were right beside the James River and the trees were changing colors leading to a beautiful experience. Dr. Redick told us to look around and find signs of what would relate to our class. He told us to look at the trees and pay attention to what they looked like as they could display a sign of what has happened to them some trees were dormant and looked to be dead and you find signs of what had happened to the tree as some had been potentially struck by lighting or some had been blocked from not getting enough sunlight. This showed what other living things had been through and showed that God has a plan for all living organisms and we can relate to that as he has a plan for us even if it is how you want it to pan out.
