As you travel to a sacred or spiritual place you need to be able to learn about the history and open yourself to new ideas you have never thought about before. Especially if you are traveling to a place with a different culture or beliefs than your own you need to be able to hear out and experience those beliefs because it could to you being more intrigued and you may find that you can incorporate those ideas into your own beliefs. This a very valid and useful point as it could open your faith in a way you have never seen or experienced before.
