Landscapes Of The Sacred
December 4th, 2022
In the book Landscapes Of The Sacred, the author talks about how sacred could be compared to a spatial fixed reality. The author is basically saying that who we are as people is partly comparable to where we are. Ultimately if we are in a good place with good people who believe in the same things and maintain the same morals as us we will in return act as the people we strive to be a "model character". While being placed in a bad situation with the wrong people will lead to you making poor decisions and take you down the wrong path in life and take you away from your life goals. The author talks about how also being in calmer and more neutral places will lead you to be calm and more relaxed, while being in hectic and stressful environments will lead to you being unfocused, undisciplined, and more stressed. Ultimately this is a very good point as he is 100 percent right I believe that who we are as people is partly comparable to where we are and what environment we are in.
