Landscapes of the Sacred

Axis mundi confused me in the readings from landscapes of
the sacred. But in class it was explained more clearly. What confused me at first was the explanation for
the terms axis and mundi. However now those explanations help me remember the
term itself. From what I understand its another name for a liminal place.
