One of my Favorite Books- Kendall

One of my favorite books of the Bible is Job. Job's story is an inspiration to my and to many others. Job started with a pretty good life- he was wealthy, had many children, servants and countless animals. He was also devoted to God and others. Then, his life was turned upside down- he lost his children, wife, animals, and servants, along with getting rashes and losing his house. Throughout all of these hardships, Job still turned to God and he still praised God. He had lost his whole identity and all that defined his earthly self, yet he never lost track of the One who gave him these blessings. One of the reasons Job is such a great testimony in my mind is because I want the faith Job had. I would love to take my pain and make it into something positive with eyes always on God. This is incredibly difficult because I do have problems trusting people but I want to trust God with the trust Job had. I believe his story has helped many people and will continue to do so, as well as being an inspiration for many to come.
