Reflection on Covid Connection assignment 8/29

 When I first read the Covid connection assignment I was skeptical because I did not know what to expect when I read the journals. I started reading the journals and I realized the effect that the coronavirus had on these hikers. I knew that Covid has a big effect on a lot of people, but I did not know that it would affect hikers that much because they are outside and not near many people. After I read a few of them I realized how sad some people got because they could not hike anymore. There are many different similarities between all of the journals that I read including most of them getting off the trail and finishing their journeys at a later date.
