September 2, 2022: Reflection on first 2 weeks of school (substitute for phenomenology of prayer blog)

When I first arrived at Christopher Newport University I was very apprehensive and nervous about everything having to do with college. It was very tough for me to get acclimated here because it was such a massive change in my life. Leaving my parents and all of my close friends at home was one of the hardest things I have ever had in my life. It took me a few days to settle into my dorm room and get used to going to classes, but eventually, I got the hang of it. I was initially intimidated by what I thought college classes were going to be, but I realized that I am very smart and I realized that it was not too hard. Overall I am having a great time and I am now happy that I came here and excited for what is to come next.
