Teacher Feedback 11/14, Dr. Stern
I thought Dr. Stern was a very outgoing and influential teacher. The positive thing that I thought was that he was very engaging with asking a lot of questions of the students who were listening. The negative thing that I thought is that he kind of just told stories of his own life and there was not much subject matter involved in the lesson. He also was very good at keeping the interest of the student by always keeping it engaging by involving the student in the lesson. I do not think that he communicated the subject clearly because I got lost in the middle and did not know what he was talking about, but I picked it back up and caught back on later in the lesson. I do not think that I would enjoy learning from this professor because I do not enjoy this kind of class, but I would take the professor if it were a different subject. He talked heavily about the Jewish religion and how they take trips to Israel which are called birth rights. He also pulled up pictures and videos about birthright and I thought it was cool when he showed the video of the bar-mitzvah in Israel. Overall he is an engaging teacher who seemed like a nice guy.
