The Nolan Trail
Today during class we visited and hiked a bit on the Nolan trail. This was my first time getting to visit the trail. Although I was extremely sick with bronchitis, I enjoyed our time on the trail. Getting out in nature on the beautiful day that it was made me feel so much better. Being on the trail I noticed much of the fall leaves and trees transitioning for the season. While admiring the leaves and my surroundings, it reminded me so much of how a little thing such as the leaves transitioning, resembled a little of how I as a freshman am also transitioning. Into college, into the season, and into a new person. Though the leaves will fall and die, the tree will produce beautiful spring flowers. Those flowers remind me of the new semester ahead. As we are in college, we will continue to transition like leaves into the seasons ahead.
