Topic of Choice 3

Another topic that we talked about in class is how certain things can be considered openings or used as a way to communicate on a different level. Something that I find very interesting is that mountains, trees, pillars, and ladders are different kinds of “openings” or connections for sacred communications. After learning about this, I did have a few questions; How are these things openings? Is anything else considered an opening? How do these openings form? Learning about this was super cool and I found it very interesting. I like the idea that these “openings” are found in different places and not rare places. The idea that these “openings” are found within nature and all around us is super cool. I guess that’s why many of the spiritual journeys that we talked about happen within nature and on the different hiking trails. I also like the idea that dreams are a way that sacred communications happen. I believe that this is because when we are sleeping, dreams come from the subconscious which could be like an opening for these communications to happen. After learning about openings and dreams I’m definitely going to be looking more into it because I find this very interesting to learn about.
